Use of the site and email
Daily Doodle is offered free of charge for personal, classroom, and family use. You can read it, print it, share it with friends and family, hand it out to a class, or pin it to your fridge.
Image and content rights
- Original doodles and original facts: we hold the rights, and we grant you a perpetual, royalty-free license for personal and classroom use. Commercial reproduction (selling the doodle on a t-shirt, for example) requires written permission — email [email protected].
- Photographs: animal photos remain the property of their photographers and are licensed under their respective licenses (Unsplash, Pexels, CC-BY, CC0, or paid). Attribution and license details are visible on each issue.
Factual accuracy
Every fact is sourced from at least two reputable publishers, listed on the issue. We aim for accuracy, but we are not infallible. If you find an error, reply to the email and we will correct it. We do not warrant any fact for use in academic or legal contexts.
Subscriptions and unsubscribing
The free Daily Doodle email is, well, free. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click at the bottom of every email. If we ever introduce a paid tier (Doodle Club), the terms for that tier will be posted before charges occur.
Liability
Daily Doodle is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the email or website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, USA. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in Honolulu, with the exception of small-claims matters, which may be brought in any local court.
